Coming Soon! One or More eBooks about Health Insurance, Life Insurance and Medicare Supplements

As a licensed health and life insurance agent in the state of Indiana, I believe that I can offer some insights for the consumer looking for health, life, or Medicare Supplement insurance. I intend to offer one or more eBooks in the near future that address various issues of which the consumer should be aware when shopping for, or thinking of changing, their Health, Life, or Medicare Supplement insurance.

Oh, and yes, I would be glad to assist any Indiana residents in particular (since I am licensed in Indiana) who might be looking for Health or Medicare Supplement Insurance. You may email me or go directly to the insurance company's website to see Indiana specific insurance plans. You may even apply online at the website.

Health Insurance Shopping Tips - Proposed eBook

Health insurance is generally expensive AND it tends to increase as time passes. Therefore, it is best to get the best insurance you can get for the least amount of cost. There are however many aspects to health insurance policies and various factors that affect the cost. I intend to provide some very important facts for the consumer's consideration whether currently without insurance, considering opting into a company insurance plan, or shopping around for a "better deal".

For example: My wife, age 42, had an increase in the cost of her company (group) insurance of approximately 100 percent at the beginning of this year. So instead of paying about $ 82.00 per month (about $ 20 plus per payday), she was now paying over $ 160.00 per month (over $ 40 per payday). This is definitely one reason that we might wonder whether the insurance was really worth having, or whether we ought to seek out another option, such as an individual (non-group, non-company) plan.

In this proposed eBook, I intend to give information that may assist people in similar circumstances among others. There isn't always a better option, but I would like to help you to find one, or at least to avoid taking a worse option that just happens to look better.

If you think you might be interested in such an eBook, please email me with your question(s) or suggestion(s). I would be glad to hear them. In the near future I intend to have an email form, but for now, please use the following link to send an email:

Medicare Supplement Tips - Proposed eBook

I know that the federal government tries to do a good job of informing seniors -- and soon-to-be seniors -- of their Medicare and Mecidare Supplement options, and etc.; but, I would like to offer some information/advice based upon my knowledge and experience as an insurance agent and as an observer of other insurance agents.

I hope to provide a simple approach, not meant to take the place of the government's information, nor the place of insurance company brochures and helpful insurance agents. I am rather offering advice to compliment and hopefully simplify some aspects of Medicare Supplements.

Some of the issues I have in mind to address in such an eBook are:

  • When should a senior look into the idea of possibly obtaining a Medicare Supplement?
  • What is the Open Enrollment Period?
  • What kind of insurance agent should a senior and close family members seek? What kind should they avoid?
  • With limited finances -- as they often are for seniors (and the rest of us too), should one seek out the least expensive Medicare Supplement?
  • Should a senior ever consider changing their Medicare Supplement and/or insurance company?
If you think you might be interested in such an eBook, please email me with your question(s) or suggestion(s). I would be glad to hear them. In the near future I intend to have an email form, but for now, use the following link to send an email:
